21st Annual World AIDS Day
Planned Parenthood in St. Louis had some special guests for World AIDS Day today, December 1. Members of the St. Louis City Board of Aldermen came to our headquarters to receive an HIV test and to educate the community on the importance of regular testing. World AIDS Day was created to increase awareness, improve education and fight prejudices for those at risk or infected with HIV or AIDS worldwide.
Our friends Antonio French (Ward 21 Alderman), Kacie Starr-Triplett (Ward 6 Alderwoman), Phyllis Young (Ward 7 Alderwoman), and Shane Cohn (Ward 25 Alderman) joined us to honor World AIDS Day.
