Colposcopy & Cryotherapy

Colposcopy is a special exam if you have an abnormal pap test. During Colposcopy, a microscope is used to magnify the cervix. This helps the practitioner see any signs of a problem, such as genital warts or abnormal cells. If detected early these problems can be treated.

Colposcopy services include:

  • Pre-procedure Counseling
  • Procedure Biopsies
  • Follow-up services including Cryotherapy, which is used to treat abnormal tissue on the cervix.

Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region offers Colposcopy and Cryotherapy at our St. PetersWest County and South Grand locations.

Call 1-800-230-PLAN to book your appointment.
