2. Seven Days in Jiquilillo, Nicaragua

3. Seven Days in Greensboro, Vermont

This cozy cottage is located in Northeast Vermont and is a wonderful place for a week’s vacation, any time of the year!  Only a short walk to the famous Willey’s General Store and four blocks from the beach on Caspian Lake, this cabin offers swimming, biking (bikes come with the house!), and paddling in the summer or cross country skiing and snow shoeing in the winter.  This is a two bedroom, two bathroom house that sleeps four people.   Only 1 ½ hours north of Burlington.  Not available in July or August.  The first week of October is prime time to see the Fall leaves changing and in the winter you can cross country ski right out the back door.

4. Three Nights in Orleans

Enjoy 1.5 acres overlooking the Klamath River and the town of Orleans (85 miles from Eureka). With three bedrooms and 2.5 baths, this house sleeps 6-10.  It has a large lawn, a deck, and even a private swimming pool.  The house was built in 1964 with the best materials and features. The large lawn area is ideal for small weddings or celebrations. There are fruit trees on the property and guests are welcome to harvest in-season fruit. The house is within minutes of the Salmon River and great swimming, rafting and kayaking. It's about an hour on mostly paved roads to trailheads in the Marble Mt. and Trinity Alps wilderness areas.

5. Three Nights in Big Lagoon

6. Three Nights in Willow Creek

Enjoy the sun or snow at this two bedroom, two bath home on the Trinity River that sleeps up to seven people.  Get up early and take a mug of coffee down to the river to see if we can catch a steelhead before the sunlight reaches the water. Enjoy pancakes at the handsome homemade picnic table before spending the day lounging on the sandy river bank, jumping into the 20-foot swimming hole or riding the gentle waters in inner tubes. Relax with a cold drink in the late afternoon on the deck and cook dinner at the kitchen counter with its river view.  The gas BBQ, wine cooler and a variety of fresh herbs are close by.  Roast marshmallows and share stories at the fire pit in the cool of the evening, stare up at the brilliant constellations as the sky darkens, and finally fall asleep to the sounds of the river that come with the breeze through the bedroom windows.  Limited availability during the high traffic season so book your stay soon.
