The Spare Change Theater Troupe focuses on the same topics while writing and producing a show each school year. Spare Change peer educators reached 1,391 youth at 25 schools in Humboldt County and 239 youth at 10 schools in Trinity County during the 2008-2009 school year.
Spare Change has been busy training, learning, and writing their scripts and lesson plans. Their work will be reviewed extensively by medical professionals, parents, school faculty & staff, community members, and local service providers before making its way into the schools and community.
