Back by popular demand, our mid-life series will be offered again this Fall. The three session course will take place at Six Rivers Planned Parenthod and will be Mondays, October 19 - November 2 from 6:30-8:30 pm.
Hormones, vitamins, osteoporosis, empty nests, sex and relationships! Menopause is a prime time to evaluate your personal health and make a plan to be at your best throughout life. Health care specialists will talk about the latest ways to make the most of menopause and mid-life. We will also learn from each other by sharing challenges and successes.
This course focuses on women's health and the aging process. Participants will learn ways to promote physical and mental health as they enter the midlife years. Topics include menopause, heart and bone health, fitness, sexuality and relationships. The sessions will be led by women's health care specialists including Debbie Hatch, WHNP and Dr. Kim Ervin. There will also be a a theater piece on aging by popular local actress Lynne Wells.
