The keynote speaker will be Felicia Brown-Williams, Regional Director of Public Policy, Planned Parenthood Southeast (Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia). Felicia will relate how Mississippi came from behind in the polls and defeated Initiative 26, which would have amended the state constitution to establish legal “personhood” at the moment of fertilization. Passage of this initiative would have changed reproductive health care as we know it.
