Young Invincibles, 18-to-34-year-olds who go without health insurance because they expect to remain healthy, are crucial to making the ACA work. The Washington Post debunked several common myths surrounding Young Invincibles and found that contrary to what some lawmakers and media outlets assert, young adults are well informed about the ACA, want health insurance coverage, and do appreciate the value of medical services.
