Part Time Front Desk Receptionist and Patient Billing

Qualifications:

·                   High school diploma. Associate’s degree preferred. 
·        Experience with NextGen practice management in a family planning setting. 
·        One to three years experience with OB/GYN computerized bill/receivables systems in an outpatient medical setting.
·        Medical Receptionist training preferred
·        Superior customer service skills.
·        Ability to establish an excellent rapport with public.
·        Excellent computer, telephone and organizational skills. 
·        Self-starter; can work well independently.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·          Maintain pleasant demeanor while greeting and checking in patients using Planned Parenthood of Southern New Jersey Electronic Practice Management/Electronic Health Records (EPM/EHR) software.

·          Acts as patient biller working with patients to verify income, insurance coverage, placement on sliding fee scale and collects patient payments.

·          Prepares health center lobby and waiting room before session.

·          Makes sure patients have proper instructions and necessary forms.

·          Restocks health center literature and straightens waiting room after session in preparation for next session. 

·          Files charts at the end of each day.

·          Maintains the day sheet and balance day sheet after health center session when necessary. Run required reports on EPM/EHR to ensure complete patient payments. Reviews with Health Center Manager.

·          Replenishes stocks of family planning literature at health center.

·          Covers telephones when necessary and scheduling appointments.

·          Participates in health center efforts to achieve established goals for productivity.

·          Adheres to affiliate goals and policies on professionalism, wait time in-clinic and on the   phone and the system for addressing patient complaints.

HIV Educator/Outreach Specialist (Atlantic City)

Qualifications:

     ·       Bachelor’s degree in health related field.

·       Minimum three years experience in the health education field. 

·       HIV/AIDS counseling and testing certification preferred.

·       Must possess strong interpersonal, group facilitation and written communication skills.

·       Ability to establish an excellent rapport with public and patients.

·       Comfortable discussing sexuality issues.

·       Experience working with male population. 

·       Excellent computer and organization skills. 

·       Experience working with limited direct supervision.

·       Bilingual English-Spanish desired.

·       Must be able to travel to multiple locations including Camden.
