Volunteer Advocates

Volunteers Advocates work in our health centers, on college campuses and throughout the community to educate and mobilize.


A Planned Parenthood Advocate does one or more of the following:
  • Periodically writes letters and makes phone calls to lawmakers
  • Submits letters to the editor
  • Attends Planned Parenthood rallies and Lobby Day at the Texas Capitol
Public Affairs Volunteer
Assists the public affairs department with grass roots organizing, voter registration, letter writing campaigns, media monitoring, community outreach opportunities, phone banking, campaign implementation, e-newsletter, social media outreach and other advocacy activities.
Campus Organizer
Engages, recruits and educates new VOX (Voices for Planned Parenthood) members.

Clinic Advocacy Volunteer

Provides direct advocacy opportunities and outreach to clients in the Planned Parenthood clinics in San Antonio, Alice and Kingsville.
