Education Programs
Planned Parenthood Shasta Pacific has one of the largest Community Services and Education Programs in the country.  PPSP provides comprehensive, responsible, age appropriate sexuality education and case management services to more than 33,000 teens, parents and adults annually. Our trained health educators and case managers design presentations, programs, and services which are tailored to the diverse needs of the communities they serve.

The first goal of Planned Parenthood's vision for the year 2025 is:
Planned Parenthood will ensure that sexuality is understood as an essential, lifelong aspect of being human and that it is celebrated with respect, openness and mutuality.

PPSP's education Resource Center maintains a comprehensive collection of books, videos, periodicals, statistical resources, and curricula on a wide variety of topics. Information packets and fact sheets are available for research. The Resource Center also maintains a computer to give clients the capability of accessing additional resources on the Internet. If you are working on a research paper and do not have a computer, contact the Resource Center to arrange a time to use ours!  To talk to someone in our Resource Center, contact the Community Services and Education Department at 925/676-0505 or
