Planned Parenthood's health education staff work with local health departments, schools, colleges and community based organizations to provide evidence-based HIV prevention interventions to reduce the numbers of new HIV infections in our communities. Participants develop risk-reduction skills and behavior change as a result of our interventions. Testing is encouraged and clients are referred to our health centers.
Planned Parenthood Shasta Pacific's HIV Case Management Program in Solano County provides free, specialized, culturally sensitive case management services for high risk HIV/AIDS infected individuals to gain skills and access to services that promote self-sufficiency, develop healthy life practices, and improve quality of life.
