In training professionals to provide sexuality education, Planned Parenthood is able to indirectly reach many more community members than would be possible with education staff. Professionals are provided the information and skills they need to more comfortably and effectively educate on the subject of sexuality.
Peer-educators, health care providers, youth-serving professionals, and teachers throughout San Diego and Riverside Counties can receive training from PPSDRC. Trainings are tailored to the needs of the client and are available in both English and Spanish. Training topics include:
