PPSDRC’s Community Outreach Program offers schools and other community-based groups the following topics:
- Introduction (This program includes information on Planned Parenthood services, teen pregnancy, comprehensive sexuality education, and best practices from Europe.)
- Reproductive Anatomy and Physiology
- Birth Control
- Sexually Transmitted Infections including HIV/AIDS
- Healthy Relationships
- Sex and the Media
These topics can be provided as a series, with each topic designed for a 50-minute session. PPSDRC recommends scheduling a minimum of 3 topics including the Introduction. PPSDRC requires a minimum of 10 participants and at least three weeks' notice before the requested date. All of PPSDRC’s presentations are in compliance with California Education Code.
