Health Center Assistant Fundamentals Training
Our new Health Center Assistant Fundamentals training program provides our staff the essential skills and knowledge needed to work in our health centers and provide the highest quality of care. This 40-hour training program is held every other month and covers a variety of topics ranging from Effective Client Education to Basic Lab Skills. Twelve in-house subject matter experts conduct the trainings. This program is an opportunity for new Health Center Assistants to gain job skills and the opportunity to practice these skills.
Additionally, our Education staff provides in-depth training to PPRM staff on several topics, including:
- Adolescent Development
- Effective Client Education
- How to Work with Diverse Populations
- Improving Customer Service Skills
