At PPRM, our goal is to ensure that everyone has the information to make responsible choices. We believe it is never too early or too late to provide each member of the community with age-appropriate information about sex, sexuality and health.
Local Community Education
We offer both short-term programs and long-term youth development programs. Each program is led and moderated by educators who are at the forefront of sexual health education. Everyday, Planned Parenthood’s team of trained educators reach people who have urgent life questions and want a safe, confidential, unbiased source to turn to for accurate information.
Local Professional Training
Our Professional Training Department offers a wide variety of educational workshops. We delivers high quality and engaging learning opportunities for educational and health care professionals, and community members on topics related to health and sexuality.
Child Birth Preparation Classes
- Variety of class formats available, including express classes on a single Saturday and classes held in the evening over a few weeks
- Focuses on non-judgmental, evidence-based information on the full range of maternity care options
- Mothers are encouraged to bring a support person when possible and all family structures are welcome
