Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains (PPRM) would like to remind everyone that 2009 school board elections are to be held this November. Public Affairs staff will be closely monitoring and responding appropriately to all issues surrounding reproductive health care in our schools. PPRM will promote and support educational material that is comprehensive and protects, ensures, or increases access to reproductive healthcare services. PPRM will also defend against and defeat any legislation that aims to restrict or prohibit access to reproductive healthcare services. Additionally, PPRM will work with coalition partners in each state to respond to any legislation that is relevant to our mission or business. The following links provide specific state voter information. The last day to register to vote is October 5th.
