H.R. 3 misleadingly short-titled the “No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act,” would burden women and insurance companies regarding abortion services, enforce new taxes, and increase barriers to access. Learn more about H.R. 3.H.R. 358 called the “Protect Life Act,” would amend the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). This bill makes it highly unlikely that insurance companies would provide any plans that cover abortion. H.R. 358 will also allow states to deny insurance coverage of contraceptives.
