Birth Control: Pills, Condoms, Depo-Provera, etc.
Our health centers provide birth control to women and men of all ages.
Using birth control is up to you. Before you use any kind of birth control, be sure you know the good things about it and the possible problems. We will talk with you about this during your visit.
We offer women the choice of getting some birth control without a pelvic exam. This visit is called HOPE (Hormones with Optional Pelvic Exam) and it makes it easier, faster and less expensive to get birth control.
Birth control pills, the shot, the patch and the vaginal ring are all available with a HOPE visit. You will only need to fill out a short medical history and have a weight and blood pressure check. A yearly (annual) exam is very important and we strongly recommend it. Yearly exams screen for early signs of cancer of the cervix or breast.
Find a health center and make an appointment today for a yearly exam or HOPE visit.
