Dr. Brown has moved
Effective May 2, 2011 Dr. Brown’s pediatric patients can be seen at the Community Health Center of Niagara.
Planned Parenthood of Western New York is no longer providing pediatric care to the residents of Niagara County - both the Lockport and Niagara Falls Pediatric Care Centers have closed. Planned Parenthood will still provide reproductive health care at its location in Haeberle Plaza at 750 Portage Rd, Niagara Falls. Parents of Planned Parenthood’s Pediatric Care clients must:
- read our letter to parents
- choose a new pediatric provider
- complete a records transfer form

About the Community Health Center of Niagara
The Community Health Center (CHC) is in the Mizer Building at the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center campus located at 501 10th Street, Niagara Falls. Click here for directions. The CHC is a new Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in the City of Niagara Falls. Dr. Brown’s departure was a part of a planned effort on the part of Planned Parenthood of Western New York and the CHC. Planned Parenthood worked with the CHC to ensure that Dr. Brown could continue to see his clients in the community that knows and trusts him. Planned Parenthood of Western New York started its pediatric practice with Dr. Brown in 1990. At that time, there was limited quality and choice of providers for some the most vulnerable children in the community. Planned Parenthood began its pediatric practice to fill that gap in care to create a healthier community. Now with the CHC just two blocks from the Niagara Falls Planned Parenthood health center, there is not a need for Planned Parenthood to continue this service. Planned Parenthood will continue to provide the community with its well-respected services in reproductive health, GYN care and birth control.
Records Transfer Options
It is important that parents of our pediatric patients choose another provider. To transfer your child's medical information, please complete the records transfer authorization form and fill in the name and address of the new provider. Your child’s new provider can also help you complete this form. We will send a summary of your child’s medical records quickly to the provider’s office, and you can then plan future appointments directly with the new provider as needed.
