The BPLAAN Coalition
The BPLAAN (Buffalo Partners Linking to Address Adolescent Needs) is a pregnancy prevention coalition speicifc to Erie County and is sponsored by the New York State Department of Health. This coalition facilitates inter-agency collaboration and community involvement in addressing the spiraling rate of teen pregnancy in the City of Buffalo.
The BPLAAN Coalition provides educational and support services to youth, parents, teachers, healthcare professionals, and other human services professionals. This broad-based coalition includes parents, community and religious organizations, schools, healthcare professionals, and political leaders of New York State. Planned Parenthood of Western New York is the lead agency of the BPLAAN Coalition.

American Red Cross sponsors blood collection, testing, and distribution services, disaster assistance and emergency aid. It provides loans of medical equipment free of charge and up to date information about AIDS and other blood born diseases. It also provides public instruction on first aid, CPR, life saving, injury prevention and, stress management. It has a volunteer training/placement as well.

This center offers therapeutic foster care service such as placement of children in need, in supportive, nurturing, certified homes.
