The Connection is a FREE after-school place for teens!
Planned Parenthood of Western New York’s teen service site, The Connection, is located at 744 East Market Street, across the lot from McDonald’s and next to the New York Fish Market. The Connection gives Middle and High School teens a safe, chaperoned setting where they can spend time with their friends, or meet new people.
- Meals or snacks are served daily.
- There are games, contests, computers and printers.
- The Connection Coordinator, members of the Teen Peer Program and Community Trainers lead lively discussions and educational sessions.
- Teens participating in the educational programs receive “Connection Cash” coupons to use towards their choice of snacks or trips.
- Contests, discussion topics, and other activities are chosen and developed by teens attending The Connection.
- Funded through our Community Based Adolescent Preganancy Prevention Grant (CBAPP)and the City of Niagara Falls Community Development Block Grant funds, the site is designed to serve teens in an inviting, relaxing café atmosphere.
