We know that when young people have accurate information, skills, and the support they need, they can and do make smart, responsible choices for their sexual health. Planned Parenthood is working to ensure a community in which all youth are provided the tools they need.
Sexuality Education
PPSO provides age-appropriate sessions for elementary, middle, and high school youth in both school and community settings. Our medically accurate programs are enthusiastically received by teachers, parents, and students. Our community educators support teachers in addressing specific Health Education Standards and Oregon State Benchmark Categories.
Community Education
Sex education isn’t just for young people. PPSO also provides programs about relevant sexual and reproductive health issues for adults. We offer sessions for universities and colleges, treatment centers, transition programs, adults with developmental disabilities, and other community-based agencies.
“The instructors take what can be a sensitive subject and handle it with insight and individual awareness. Bravo Planned Parenthood”
