Electronic Health Records are coming to Planned Parenthood!

This means some changes to our service over the next few months.

To serve you better, we are switching all of our health centers to Electronic Health Records instead of paper charts.  Over the next few months, we will be rolling out Electronic Health Records at our Health Centers, beginning with West Eugene in September and ending with Medford and Grants Pass in January 2014.

What does this mean for you?

  • You can move from one health center to another and all of your information will be available at each location.
  • Itís better for the environment- we wonít be printing paper chart forms
  • Improved patient safety features, including allergies and prescription automatically checked against any other prescriptions you are taking
  • When fully functional and exchangeable, EHR will increase efficiency and also the accuracy of your health records

As we roll out Electronic Health Records, we will experience a slow-down period at each health center as staff members learn to use the system as effectively as possible.  Please be patient as we make this important transition
