Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida, Inc. (PPSWCF) is a nonprofit family planning organization serving the St. Petersburg and Sarasota region of Florida since 1966. Providing men’s health and women’s health services, Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida currently has seven healthcare clinics  with locations in Sarasota, Bradenton, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Lakeland, Winter Haven and Ft. Myers. Dedicated to delivering the highest quality healthcare services for men, women, and teens, including gynecological exams, cervical cancer screenings, and STD testing, Planned Parenthood is also committed to providing comprehensive, age-appropriate and medically accurate sexuality education. Protecting a woman's fundamental right to choose is a major tenet of our underlying philosophy and at Planned Parenthood, we are here to serve men and women’s health.

Planned Parenthood's sexual health services are individualized and confidential—Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida is committed to serving, educating, and protecting women, men and teens seeking healthcare services. Your decision to be abstinent, sexually active or use birth control is personal and private—and this includes the decision to have an abortion. Clinics are open to all individuals, and teens, men, and women are welcome to make a confidential appointment, regardless of race, ancestry, national origin, creed, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, marital status, income or age. 

Planned Parenthood provides essential medical services to improve women’s health and men’s health around St. Pete and Sarasota. Through more than 76,000 patient visits annually, Planned Parenthood provides men’s and women’s health services including gynecological exams, low-cost birth control, STD testing and treatment, HIV testing, pregnancy testing, cervical and breast cancer screenings, Gardasil (HPV vaccination), vasectomies, and abortions. Clinics are conveniently located throughout the southwest and central Florida region and offer a wide range of sexual health services during daytime, evening and Saturday hours.
