Join us for breakfast and a fascinating presentation: Donna J. Petersen, MHS, ScD, Professor and Dean, College of Public Health, University of South Florida will share her observations about what’s going on in the State legislature, and the effects that can be expected on women's health and family planning issues. Dr. Petersen came to USF in 2004 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she was a full professor and former senior associate dean who was known as an innovator in the area of public health education and a leader in the fields of health policy and maternal and child health. Her research and teaching have focused on leadership and advocacy for women and children, including all aspects of the health care system. She earned her Doctor of Science degree in 1989 from The Johns Hopkins University, where she also received her Master of Health Science degree.
