MIRROR, MIRROR ON THE WALL!
A girl’s relationship with her mother is a complicated and beautiful thing. Mothers are their daughters’ role models and support system.   However, today body-image issues and food issues between mothers and daughters are prominent in our society. Join our class for mothers and teen-age daughters that explores how mothers influence their daughters’ body image and how that image impacts their sexual decision-making.

   MONDAY NIGHT LIGHTS: Life Saving Conversations with Your Kids.
Sex is part of life, and kids have many questions and concerns. Kids need and want this information and they want it from their parents. Become your child’s primary sex educator. Share the information you want them to have. Be prepared to talk with your child about sexual responsibility, pregnancy and STI (sexually transmitted infection) prevention, and other sensitive issues.

The internet is a wonderful tool for learning, but this information superhighway also has danger zones. Learn about the online dangers of cyber bullying, internet predators and identity loss. Protect your child by learning practical solutions and responses.

Explore how the media influences our teens by using sex as a tool to market products and images. Help your teen understand how media impacts self esteem, body image, dress and style. Teach your child about spheres of influence, how to set limits and understand self-discipline.
