In recognition of the 39th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, Planned Parenthood presents its annual Hillsborough County Choice Affair Luncheon. The luncheon features Dr. Charles Mahan, who says, “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World … And So Am I!”
Dr. Mahan is the Dean and Professor Emeritus in the College of Public Health at the University of South Florida and The Lawton and Rhea Chiles Center for Healthy Mothers and Babies. He is also the former Director of the State Health Department (1988-1995). He was Founding President of the National Board of Public Health Examiners (2005-2008).
Cost: $60 per person (sponsorships available). $20 student tickets are available to those under 25. Proceeds benefit Planned Parenthood’s reproductive health services and prevention education programs in Hillsborough County.
