Emergency Contraception Special

Women who require emergency contraception, also known as the morning-after pill, may purchase it for only $20 per pack while supplies last at all seven Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida locations (St. Petersburg, Sarasota, Tampa, Fort Myers, Lakeland, Manatee, and Winter Haven).

This special provides an incredible discount—the cost of one pack of emergency contraception is usually $40 to $60 at your local pharmacy. It’s best to back up your birth control with emergency contraception and the sooner you take it, the better it works.

*If you are 17 or older and have government-issued ID (driver’s license, state ID, passport, green card, etc.), you can buy Emergency Contraception (EC) over the counter, where it is sold under the brand name Plan B/Plan B® One-Step.

*Ages 16 and under by prescription only. $15 for visit and $15 for Emergency Contraception. Future refills for 16 and younger would then be $15 per pack. If you’re under 17 and need to get a prescription for EC, contact one of our health centers right away!
