The Adult Role Models (ARMs) program is a community based initiative that empowers Latino, Haitian, and African-American parents to teach other parents how to communicate with teens about a wide range of life-saving sexual health issues.Breast Health
Breast Health Community Educators armed with the most current medical training reached approximately 6,500 adults and young people in 2007. Planned Parenthood has provided this life-saving training to more than 50,000 individuals since the program’s inception back in 2000.
FAITH
Through a novel partnership with religious organizations, our FAITH program combines the spiritual and moral guidance of religious leaders with the health and educational outreach expertise of Planned Parenthood to attend to the whole person--mind, body, and soul.La Promesa
La Promesa is our award winning Latino outreach program that links underserved residents with education and healthcare. The program seeks to eliminate traditional barriers to health care for Latinos by offering culturally sensitive, bilingual health services for women, men and teens.
Teen Time®-Carrera Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program Teen Time®- is a holistic afterchool program for teens ages 12-17 who live in areas with high rates of teen pregnancy and school drop-outs.Teen Time®- Educational Outreach and Medical Services
This program includes confidential STI testing, pregnancy testing, gynecological exams and birth control for teens. Each teen will receives one-on-one counseling with a health educator..
