Teen Peer Education

Founded in 2001, STARS (Students Teaching About Responsible Sexuality) is a peer education program organized by PPSNE. Teens are trained to provide basic sexuality-related education, resources and referrals to their peers via both informal and formal venues. The focus of the program is teen pregnancy prevention, STD and HIV prevention, and the promotion of healthy relationships through responsible choices.

If you'd like to be considered for our STARS program, please complete the application and email it to stars@ppsne.org.

Note for Mac users: There is a well-known flaw in how the Preview app on Macintosh computers handles .pdf forms that "hides" the values you enter on the form. To avoid having your application appear blank, please save the completed application to a new .pdf using the Mac's Print/Save as PDF option. Then, email the new file to stars@ppsne.org.
