Parents

Talking to your kids about sexuality can be hard. As parents, we can often feel like we don't have enough information to give, or we feel embarressed. You are not alone. Most parents want to give their children guidance about sex and sexuality and pass on their values. Remember, your kids want to learn from you and they DO listen to you on important topics like sex, drugs, alcohol, and other hard decisions.

Check out our resources section for websites that contain lots of great information to help you on this journey.

PPSI also has a resource library containing books, movies, pamphlets, and many other items available for public use. Call 319.753.6209 x 115 to find out if we have resources for the topic you are looking for. If we don't, we will try our best to get it for you or point you in the right direction.

If you have any questions, give us a call at the number above or email the Education Director.
