The Teen Action Group is a peer education, teen pregnancy prevention and community service program for teens ages 15-18. Teens from Atlanta area high schools sign on for the school year and gain skills in public speaking, leadership and communication.
TAG members are trained to help facilitate teen pregnancy prevention retreats using the evidence-based curriculum Making Proud Choices! (MPC). Chosen by the CDC as a “program that works,” MPC increases risk reduction knowledge, skill building and increases positive attitudes toward preventing unplanned pregnancies and STDs.
