Family planning is more than just birth control. It includes screening services that help find serious health problems like low blood iron, high blood pressure, breast & cervical cancer and infections.
Who Qualifies?
With PLAN FIRST!, Michigan women who are:
- age 19-44
- U.S. citizens or certain qualified legal residents
- are Michigan residents
- meet monthly family income limits
- not receiving Medicaid
- not insured
- and who are not pregnant
can receive family planning services and birth control absolutely FREE!
What do I Need to Provide to Qualify?
You need information about the following to apply for PLAN FIRST!:
- Family income
- Original birth certificate or current passport
- Social security number
- Age
- Marital status
- Living arrangements
- Child care cost
