Pills, Etc. by Mail

YOU MUST BE A CURRENT CLIENT AT PPSCM TO RECIEVE BIRTH CONTROL THROUGH THIS PROGRAM

What is it?

Pills, Etc. by Mail is an easy and convenient way to have your birth control sent directly to you when you need it. No special trip, no lines, no waiting!

Who is eligible?
Anyone using birth control with a current prescription from Planned Parenthood of South Central Michigan is eligible for Pills, Etc. by Mail. If you do not have a current prescription from PPSCM, contact the health center nearest you to find out about H.O.P.E. (hormones with optional pelvic exam) — a.k.a. pills without a pelvic. H.O.P.E. allows women to receive hormonal birth control such as the pill, Depo-Provera, Nuva Ring and the patch without a pelvic exam. An office visit is required to enroll in the H.O.P.E. program. Condoms and diaphram jelly are also available through this program.

How will it help?

Pills, Etc. by Mail will save you time. No need to make a special trip to one of our health centers just to pick up birth control! No transportation costs! No running out!

What does it cost?

Contraception available by mail is full cost. Birth control pills, the Ortho Evra Patch, condoms and diaphram jelly are all available through Pills, Etc. by Mail. A postage fee of $3 ensures that you receive your birth control when you need it. (Nuva Ring is NOT available through Pills, Etc. by Mail)

 How do I pay?

You can purchase your Pills, Etc. by Mail with a personal check or a money order. You can also charge your order on your VISA, Mastercard or Discover card. Any outstanding balance from a past visit to Planned Parenthood of South Central Michigan must be paid before birth control can be sent to you by mail. If you need to know what your balance is, please call our Kalamazoo health center at 269-372-1200. You may include that balance (no personal checks over $100) along with payment for your Pills, etc. by Mail order.

Are there any other benefits?

Confidentiality is an important benefit when you order Pills, etc. By Mail. Your pills will be sent to you in a plain envelope without the Planned Parenthood return address. When you order Pills, Etc. by Mail we will also send you reminders of your next visit.
