Our Annual Fundraiser for Our Education & Community Affairs Department! Join us for Mitzi's Abortion A Saint's Guide to Late-term Politics & Medicine in America — a play by Elizabeth Heffron.
Mitzi’s Abortion s a compelling play about a young woman who struggles to define herself in a world where others are determined to make choices for her. When Mitzi is faced with a medically necessary abortion, deeply-held beliefs collide with insurance regulations and varying reactions from those she loves. As the story unfolds, Saint Thomas Aquinas and a 17th-century midwife join the fray, providing comic relief and a unique perspective. Playwright Elizabeth Heffron delivers an entertaining and thought-provoking play with a healthy dose of humor.
