The Center for Leadership in Sexuality Education's goal is to ensure that sexuality is understood as an essential life long aspect of being human and that it is celebrated with respect, openness and mutuality.
Training & Consultation
Experienced facilitators offer up-to-date training to build knowledge, skills, curricula, and educational resources. Youth workers, students, health professionals, religious leaders, social workers, educators and administrators all benefit from training and consulting services.

Community Outreach
Trained educators present to classes, support groups, health fairs, organizations, workshops, and/or conferences. We also serve on local advisory committees, councils and national networks.
Calhoun County Coalition for Inclusion
Calhoun County Coalition for Inclusion (3Ci) — is a gathering of anyone and everyone who wants to work to create a welcoming, inclusive and affirming community for LGBTQ youth. Lead by Planned Parenthood of South Central Michigan, 3Ci is a coalition of churches, mental health professionals, educators, social service agencies and other community members in the effort to respond to the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth and their families throughout Calhoun County. All orientations and ages are welcome.

Project T.R.U.S.T.
Project T.R.U.S.T. (Teaching Responsibility and Understanding of Sexuality and Teen development) just began it's 10th year of programming as a nationally recognized teen peer education program active in Calhoun County. Local high school youth are trained in leadership, sexuality education, and facilitation skills. Their goals are: to help reduce teen pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections, increase healthy relationships and sexual decision making, and ensure every individual's right to medically accurate, age appropriate sexual health information and services without fear, shame or exploitation. Resource Center
A unique collection of books, videos, CDs, journals, periodicals, brochures, demonstration models, educational charts, contraceptive kits, curricula, youth and family activities, research packets, and more!
The Margolis Traveling Library is full of books and videos designed to help parents and families communicate about sexuality and life issues. Most materials are available at low or no cost for weekly rental or purchase. The Resource Center is open at the Kalamazoo health center Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, and at the Barbara K. Hill Resource Center in the Battle Creek health center by appointment.
