Amigo a Amigo is an award-winning peer education program offered to young adults and sanctioned by Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Amigo a Amigo (Friend to Friend), a local community-based peer education and referral program, was developed by Planned Parenthood of Santa Barbara, Ventura & San Luis Obispo Counties in 1993 to promote family planning and sexual health among at-risk Latino teens.
