Volunteer
Planned Parenthood was founded by volunteers. In 1916, Margaret Sanger opened the first family planning center in the U.S., working with volunteers to provide contraceptive advice despite the threat of jail and charges of violating New York's anti-obscenity statutes. Today we continue to rely on the energy and commitment of volunteers to fulfill our mission of providing comprehensive reproductive health care, education, and advocacy. We offer volunteer opportunities and internships in our administrative sites and in some of our health centers.
Volunteers at PPNNE come from diverse backgrounds. While they are all unique, they share a strong commitment to the Planned Parenthood mission.
Be one of us – because health care should be for all of us. Your time is now!
