Volunteer

PPNNE relies on the energy and commitment of volunteers to fulfill our mission of providing comprehensive reproductive health care, education, and advocacy.

We offer volunteer opportunities and internships in our administrative sites and in some of our health centers.

Interns Wanted!

PPNNE is currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated interns for the upcoming academic year.  For more information, contact the outreach coordinator in your state:
In Maine: cquint@ppnne.org
In New Hampshire: mailto:mburgoyne@ppnne.org
In Vermont: alafayette@ppnne.org

Volunteers at PPNNE come from diverse backgrounds. While they are all unique, they share a strong commitment to the Planned Parenthood mission.

For continuous ways to be involved, please consider one of the following volunteer positions:

Legislative Action Volunteer

Help Planned Parenthood defend against anti-choice bills and pass pro-choice bills in the northern New England legislatures.  Legislative action volunteers assist with mobilizing other Planned Parenthood supporters to contact their state legislators.  Other activities include contacting your own legislator, writing letters to the editor, attending public hearings or press conferences, and helping with action alerts and mailings.

Tabling/Outreach Volunteer

Help Planned Parenthood do outreach at fairs, festivals, concerts, conferences and more.  Provide information to the public on Planned Parenthood health services and recruit volunteers and Planned Parenthood Action Network members..

Clinic Greeter/Escort Volunteer

Help support our patients by ensuring access to our services.  Greet patients at the door, escort them through picket lines, and ease their entrance into the health center.

Opportunities for Students

If you're a high school or college student, get involved with issues that concern you! Planned Parenthood can be your resource for information and tools and can help you organize a choice group at your school. (Please tell us your state and school.) If your school already has existing choice and/or feminist groups on campus, but you’d like more information about the issues or would like help organizing a specific event, let us know.
