For Parents

PPNNE believes that parents are the primary sexuality educators of their children, teaching them values, expectations, and standards of acceptable behavior.

Dad and son
Many parents, however, are uncomfortable talking about sexuality with their children--after all, their parents may not have talked with them about it, they may not know all of the answers, they may be embarrassed by the subject, or they may worry about telling too much.

PPNNE has been more focused than ever on encouraging families and communities to talk honestly and openly about sexuality, health and relationships.  More talk is good and what parents say matters most.
