Where does the Teen Council meet?
We currently have Teen Councils in Portland, ME; Burlington, VT; and Manchester, NH.

Why does Planned Parenthood run these councils?
The Education Department of PPNNE will use the insights gained from the council meetings to aid in the development of our programs, to modify the logistics of the services we provide (i.e. health center hours), to evaluate the efficacy of our campaigns, and to inform the Planned Parenthood of Northern New England board and senior management of our findings.  Most importantly, the Teen Council helps us keep a finger on the pulse of teen life and reality so we can best serve teens, parents, and the community.

How do I join?
If you live in or near Portland, ME; Burlington, VT or Manchester, NH, and you would like to join a teen council you can contact us here or you can call our central Education Department at (800) 488-9638.
