Workshops
Planned Parenthood provides workshops on a variety of reproductive health and human sexuality topics for community members and professionals. Participants include parents, caregivers, social workers, counselors, teachers, health educators, medical professionals, case managers, family planning professionals, and other social service providers.
Our workshops are tailored to meet a variety of needs and teach solid skills in sexual health promotion and effective strategies for providing responsible sexuality education to their audiences. Many of our programs offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) as well as Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credits for professionals. Registration is usually on a first-come, first-serve basis and some fees may apply, so please register early.
Planned Parenthood of Northeast Ohio's Community Educators and Outreach Specialists are also experienced trainers of CDC-approved curricula including Safer Choices; Be Proud! Be Responsible! and Reducing the Risk.
