Teen Resources
Sexual messages are promoted everywhere you look. Sex is the star in many sitcoms and in ads that sell cosmetics, clothes and cars every day, just to name a few. But talking about sex in America is rare. Sex has become both America's most popular topic and its best kept secret.
Sexuality is an integral part of personhood. It's a life-long process that begins in the home with your family. It includes formal education programs as well as the informal influence of your friends, your heritage, religious teachings and day to day exposure to social customs and changing technologies.
At Planned Parenthood of Northeast Ohio, your health care is important to us. Whether you're coming in for an exam or birth control, or something "doesn't feel quite right", our staff is here to help. We support teens and adults in making informed choices that result in healthier lifestyles. We will answer questions honestly. We will not judge you. We're here when you need us. And services are completely confidential, so you can feel comfortable knowing that your privacy will be respected.
At Planned Parenthood, affordable and confidential health services are provided to teenagers (females and males) 13 years and older.
