Professional Development

Planned Parenthood provides professional trainings and workshops on a variety of reproductive health and human sexuality topics. Participants include social workers, counselors, teachers, health educators, medical professionals, parents, case managers, family planning professionals, and other social service providers.

Our professional trainings and workshops are tailored to meet a variety of needs. The workshops teach professionals solid skills in sexual health promotion and effective strategies for providing responsible sexuality education to their audiences. Many of our training programs offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) as well as Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credits for professionals.

Planned Parenthood of Northeast Ohio's Community Educators and Outreach Specialists are also experienced trainers of CDC-approved curricula including Safer Choices; Be Proud! Be Responsible!Reducing the Risk.
