Professional Training

PPNEO offers trainings programs and workshops to community members and professionals on reproductive health and human sexuality topics. Our professional training programs are tailored to meet a variety of needs and teach solid skills in sexual health promotion and effective strategies for providing responsible sex education. Ideal participants include social workers, counselors, teachers, health educators, medical professionals, case managers, family planning professionals, other service providers, parents, and caregivers. Registration is usually on a first-come, first-serve basis and some fees may apply, so please register early.

Many of our programs offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) as well as Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credits for professionals. PPNEO's Community Outreach and Education Specialists are also experienced trainers of CDC-approved curricula including Safer Choices, Be Proud!
