Mifeprex, the early option abortion pill, is approved by the Food and Drug Administration for ending early pregnancy. Mifeprex, followed 24 to 48 hours later by another drug (misoprostol) is a safe and effective non-surgical method for ending early pregnancy. Early pregnancy is defined as 63 days or less since the first day of the last menstrual period. Many women feel medical abortion is a more private option. Its effectiveness rate exceeds 95%.

Includes lab work, targeted medical history and physical exam, ultrasound, comprehensive options education, meeting with physician who will dispense mifepristone pills answer questions, and follow-up visit.
