Community Outreach

Because understanding sexuality is such an integral part of human development, community outreach is a vital component of our services.

Planned Parenthood is helping strengthen our local Northeast Ohio communities by collaborating with other local agencies and leaders to ensure that individuals and families are able to access affordable community services that they need.  Community Outreach Specialists meet regularly to discuss ways to deliver necessary health and social services to a greater number of community members in at-risk populations in an affordable way, while making the best use of our limited resources. This network of like-minded agencies and individuals enables us to reach out to more individuals and families that might not have otherwise had access to the full-range of preventative, reproductive health care and family planning services.
