Planned Parenthood of Northeast Ohio offers clients the option to order and receive refills for birth control pills, OrthoEvra contraceptive patches, and condoms through the mail.  

* Due to the varying temperatures of postal facilities, Planned Parenthood can no longer mail the NuvaRing contraceptive ring. Doing so may compromise the NuvaRing's contraceptive properties. You may submit a refill form, but must pick up the order at your PPNEO health center.


HOW TO ORDER AND PAY: 

Reorder by Mail

Download and complete the appropriate order form:

Mail the form with your check, money order, or credit card information to your health center. Payment must be received with the form before we mail your birth control. If you are insured by Medicaid, no payment is necessary. Your order will arrive in 7 - 10 days at the mailing address requested on the form.

Select the option for birth control reorders. Speak clearly and slowly. Leave your name, current address, and credit card information (name of credit card, credit card number, and expiration date). Your order will arrive in 7 - 10 at the address requested.

Clients with Medicaid insurance need only tell us their name and birth date. Also, let us know if your insurance carrier (QualChoice, CareSource, traditional) or address has changed. We will verify eligibility.

No Special Trip, No Lines, No Waiting!

Birth Control by Mail will save you time! Your birth control will conveniently arrive at your address within 10 days of placing your order. No need to make a special trip to one of our health centers; no transportation costs; no running out!

To participate in the Birth Control by Mail Program, a client must:

  • Be an established client using birth control with a current prescription from one of PPNEO's Greater Cleveland health centers listed above. If you do not have a current prescription from PPNEO, contact a health center near you (listed above) to make an appointment to get a prescription - no pelvic exam necessary.
  • Have a functional address and understand that confidentiality cannot be maintained if someone other than the patient opens the package sent by PPNEO.
  • Be willing to call the health center if you experience any problems that might be related to contraceptive use.
  • Have the ability to pay for the refill, unless you have Medicaid insurance.
  • Understand it will take 10 days for delivery.
  • Have an Ohio address; no prescription medications may be mailed across state lines.

How much does it cost? 
 
  Pills:         $17 per month
  Patch:      $40 per month 
  NuvaRing:  $17 per month
  Condoms:   $3 per dozen

If you have Medicaid insurance, you do not need to send payment. We will bill your Medicaid insurance carrier.
