Which Method is Right for Me?

Pills, patches, shots, rings--there are so many options available in birth control these days, you're bound to find one that fits your lifestyle. How do you know which method is right for you?

Did you know that eighty five percent of women who use no contraception during vaginal intercourse become pregnant each year? The only guarantee against pregnancy is not having vaginal intercourse.

If you are sexually active or thinking about becoming sexually active and don't want to become pregnant, a reliable birth control method is the best way to reduce the risk of an unintended pregnancy.

When you are ready for birth control, choose a method that is easy for you to use and one that fits your lifestyle. If you have questions, our staff can help you decide on the method that is right for you. You must be sure that you will be able to use it correctly every time. You should also consider whether your chosen method will help protect you from HIV and other sexually transmitted infections.

Planned Parenthood of Northeast Ohio offers the most up-to-date methods of birth control, all of which are safe and effective at all of our health center locations.
