Pizza and Action
We are excited about combining Pizza & Letters and Legislative Action Teams to create a new event. Please take Pizza & Letters and Legislative Action Teams events off your calendar and add PIZZA & ACTION to the third Tuesday of the month!
These monthly gatherings will begin with a presentation over a light meal followed by direct actions you can take either individually or in cooperation with other activists from your legislative or congressional district. We will try to insure that the action you take fits your interests and commitment.

PIZZA & ACTION will meet on the THIRD TUESDAY of each month from 6:00 – 7:30 pm.
In Omaha, meet at 4610 Dodge St.; in Lincoln, at 2246 O St.
New video conferencing technology generously provided by grants and major donors will enable activists and staff at both locations to interact with each other.

Special Events
It’s hard to characterize special events because they are … well, special!  It could be participating in a statewide lobby day, screening a new video about sex education that works, hearing a national leader talk about reproductive freedom, leafleting about a critical legislative bill, taking part in a political demonstration and more.  If you want to be in the loop to find out about special events, click here.

Iowa's Project Pharmacy's mission is to strengthen access to reproductive health care resources statewide, ensure access and availability of emergency contraception (EC) over-the-counter and by prescription in Iowa pharmacies and implement education initiatives to better inform the public, pharmacists and physicians about EC.
