Education Programs
Unintended pregnancy prevention and healthy sexuality throughout life -- that's the focus of Planned Parenthood's educational programs. Programs can be tailored to meet the unique needs of each audience.
Program topics include:
Human development: Anatomy, puberty, reproduction, menopause,sexual myths and misconceptions
Sexual health: Abstinence and contraception, pregnancy, adoption, abortion, prevention of sexually transmitted infections and HIV/AIDS
Sexuality: gender identity/expression, sexual orientation
Sexual behavior: Human sexual response, safer sex, making responsible choices
Society & culture: Gender roles, diversity, sexuality and the media, body image, eating disorders
Personal skills: Values, self esteem, decision-making, communication, saying "no"
Relationships: Families, love, dating, parenting, relationship evaluation, talking to your kids about sex, male responsibility, acquaintance rape and dating violence
Planned Parenthood: History, reproductive rights, medical services
