Local Training & Education
Our educational opportunities are about helping people become comfortable with who they are and teaching them how to make responsible choices. Education gives people the tools to avoid unintended pregnancy, prevent sexually transmitted infections and achieve overall sexual health.
We are guided by these values:
Parents should be their children's primary educators on sexuality.
Other educators, within the community, schools or religious setting, can enhance the learning process.
All people - children, teens and adults - deserve age-appropriate, complete and accurate information about sexuality.
Sexuality education must address the whole person including the physical, ethical, spiritual and emotional dimensions.
Sexuality is a natural and healthy part of living.
