Suzanne Cluett, a native of Washington State, dedicated her life to women’s health and rights and began her commitment to international development in Nepal as a Peace Corps volunteer in the mid nineteen sixties. Suzanne served as a Board member and Board chair of PPGNW, as well as a member of the national PPFA Board. She later worked at PATH (Program for Appropriate Technology in Health) and at the Gates Foundation with Mr. Bill Gates Senior. The generosity of the Gates Foundation’s initial $1 million gift in honor of Suzanne Cluett, combined with donations of individuals and the PPGNW Board, has made Suzanne’s International Program possible.
